400 Classroom Wing renovation (auto shop and robotics)

The floor in the classroom where the students work on engines was leveled. There was an additional outdoor lift put in to increase the number of student work stations.

When a fire destroyed the existing Robotics and Computer Networking Lab in late 2016, the District put in motion plans to relocate the program ahead of schedule. The new lab will be in the space formerly housing a metal shop. The new lab has new welding and soldering stations, wireless connectivity, networking equipment and new movable lab and shop furniture. The space will also have access to an outdoor courtyard for construction and testing of larger projects.

Construction Cost: $570,000
